Job DescriptionOHIO LAW STATES THAT IF YOU'VE HAD A DUI IN THE LAST 10 YEARS YOU CAN NOT BE A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE HAD YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS
Bus Driver
Driver in Training - $9.00/hr (usually 4-6 weeks)
Probationary Rate,after obtaining CDL with endorsements - $20.28 (90 working days)
Completion of probation - starts at $21.94
The district will train applicants to obtain a Class B CDL with School Bus Passenger endorsement AND applicants are paid during training
Qualifications:
- Must possess valid driver license
- Ability to interact effectively with children and adults in the performance of the job duties
- Display good physical and mental health to meet job requirements
- Must have knowledge of Board of Education Pupil Transportation Policies
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Be able to operate two-way radio

Salary: $9 to $20.28 Per Hour
