Forklift Operator, Material Handler
Job Summary
Ready to hit the road and keep operations moving? We are looking for a Forklift Operator who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and doesn’t mind traveling. This role offers Monday‑Friday hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 85 % travel, giving you the opportunity to work at multiple locations while playing a key role in warehouse and material movement operations.
In this position, you will safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility. You will also assist with cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other tools as needed. KeyAccountabilities
- Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
- Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
- Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
- Pick, process, and pack orders, and may also be required to cut orders on a Kaltenbach saw.
- Complete cycle counts.
- Identify, hold and segregate defective material.
- Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required.
- Perform general clean‑up.
- Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift and report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
- Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives and requirements.
- Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
- Work directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, must read and write French).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet.
- Basic math skills.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
- Safety mindset.
Preferred Requirements:
- Use of handheld measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
