thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services aims to be the preferred provider of value-added product management and industrial services for the manufacturing industry in North America, emphasizing reliability, quality, continuous improvement, and value creation. Services include supply chain management, logistics management, testing and inspection, and packaging and kitting.

Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also use cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment. Work is performed under direct supervision, handling basic issues and problems.

• Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to the inventory plan.
• Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Pick, process, and pack orders; may cut orders on the Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions when required.
• Perform general cleanup and inspect forklift at the beginning of each shift; report issues to the supervisor or designated personnel.
• Participate in and comply with health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives and requirements.
• Assist in other duties to support operations as requested by the supervisor or team lead.
• Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, read and write French).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Ability to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset.

Preferred Requirements:

• Use of handheld measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office.

Compensation up to $20/hour based on experience.
