Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also use cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment. Work is performed under direct supervision, handling basic issues and problems.
Responsibilities- Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to the inventory plan.
- Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
- Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
- Pick, process, and pack orders; may cut orders on the Kaltenbach saw.
- Complete cycle counts and identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
- Complete paperwork per work instructions when required.
- Perform general cleanup and inspect forklift at the beginning of each shift; report issues to the supervisor or designated personnel.
- Participate in and comply with health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives and requirements.
- Assist in other duties to support operations as requested by the supervisor or team lead.
- Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, read and write French).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 feet.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Ability to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping motions.
- Safety mindset.
Preferred Requirements:
- Use of handheld measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office.
Compensation up to $20/hour based on experience.
