Warehouse Leader

More than a job - a career. As a Warehouse Leader, you will lead assigned areas of Branch warehouse operations including logistics processes, inventory management, security, safety, housekeeping, equipment utilization, business system applications and all other functions designed to meet or exceed branch customer service standards. Occasional Delivery Driver responsibilities will be required for this role as well.

• Lead activities of employees engaged in loading, unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving and transportation of merchandise.
• Supervise incoming and outgoing shipment activity; ensure efficient, accurate and timely customer service to achieve service goals.
• Perform physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and material in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state and perform daily safety inspections.
• Maintain security of merchandise and equipment; implement loss prevention programs and ensure accurate daily cycle counts.
• Determine routing and legal load limits of trucks, inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications, and direct movement of shipments from dock to storage and work area.
• Compile records of unfilled orders, post weight and shipping charges, and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure all warehouse procedures, including DOT regulations and hazardous material shipping, are followed.
• Participate in or lead the Warehouse Steering Committee.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire and lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Knowledge of warehouse layouts, operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of computers and SAP.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Mathematical, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under close supervision.
• Willingness to adapt to seasonal changes, temperature variations and inclement weather conditions.

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $22.00 per hour depending on experience.

• Steel‑toed boots required.
• CDL not required, but must pass a DOT medical exam.
