Job Description:

We are seeking full time Special Education Paraeducators to join our team at all levels. As a Special Education Para educator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. Your compassion, patience and commitment to inclusivity will make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities are:

* Work closely with special education teachers to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, offering assistance with academic and social skills development.

* Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being.

* Support students during meals, recess and other non-academic activities.

* Document student progress and communicate effectively with teachers.

* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for all students.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Position offers health, dental and life insurance coverage as well as participation in the retirement plan. $16.90 per hour starting in the  school year.
