Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for our preschoolers. You will implement a prewritten curriculum that emphasizes creativity, exploration, and play-based learning.

Working

Schedule:

Candidates applying for this position must be able to work Monday through Friday, at a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 40 hours/week).

  • Plan and implement daily activities aligned with our curriculum standards
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor children's progress and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance our program
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
  • Manage classroom behaviors
  • Adhere to OEC regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for early childhood education and the arts
Nice To Have
  • Some education in Early Childhood preferred
  • Knowledge of CT ELDS
