Your Role at a Glance
The Sales Operations Analyst, Systems & Reporting serves as the critical link between the direct sales organization and Digital Systems (IT/Power BI/Salesforce administration) teams. This role translates business needs into actionable system solutions, delivers insights through reporting, and handles day-to-day Salesforce and other data requests. This role reduces the sales department's reliance on Digital Systems and enables them to focus on strategic initiatives.
SalesforceSupport & Optimization
- Serve as the first point of contact for Salesforce Revenue Cloud requests across Direct, Channel, Educational, and Compliance Sales teams
- Build and maintain scalable reports and dashboards aligned with Mastercam pipeline and forecast tracking standards
- Troubleshoot data integrity issues across opportunities, accounts, and quoting workflows, partnering with Digital Systems as needed
- Continuously improve workflows and data quality to support accurate reporting and downstream financial alignment
- Develop and maintain Salesforce and Power BI dashboards supporting pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and executive KPI reporting
- Deliver actionable insights on bookings, pipeline health, forecast gaps, and performance trends across global sales teams
- Implement and enforce standardized reporting definitions (pipeline, forecast, revenue, etc.) to ensure alignment across Sales, Finance, and Operations
- Support recurring reporting cadences (weekly pipeline calls, forecast reviews, leadership updates) with reliable, consistent data
- Translate business requirements from Sales Ops, Commercial leadership, and Channel teams into clear technical specifications for Digital Systems
- Partner closely with Digital Systems on Salesforce enhancements, prioritization, and release planning related to Revenue Cloud
- Triage, prioritize, and esc‑alate complex system or reporting requests while balancing cross‑functional dependencies
- Identify inefficiencies across quoting, order flow, and reporting processes, then implement related automation and system‑driven solutions
- Reduce manual effort through improved Salesforce configuration, validation rules, and workflow automation
- Support ongoing optimization of Salesforce Revenue Cloud post‑launch to improve usability and adoption
- Enable sales users in Salesforce, specifically reporting tools and standardized processes (opportunity management, forecasting, quoting)
- Develop and maintain clear SOPs, job aids, and documentation aligned to Sales Ops standards
- Enable self‑service reporting by designing intuitive dashboards and educating users on how to interpret key metrics
The Talents We're Seeking
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
- 35+ years of Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Business Systems, Reporting, or related experience
- Advanced Salesforce reporting and dashboard experience
- Power BI dashboard development and data visualization experience
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system enhancements
- Strong understanding of sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams
- Above average communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide accurate and timely information in a succinct and easy to understand manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as calculator, telephone systems, company network and familiarity with CRM tools
- Proven time management skills and a track record of working in a team environment successfully supporting others
- Well‑organized, attention to detail and able to multi‑task
- Problem solving and analysis skills
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst
- Experience with Power BI data modeling and DAX
- Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite
- Experience supporting global sales organizations
