Salary: $100K-$119K
Project Manager – Pavement Preservation
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure efficient sequencing of pavement preservation activities, including surface preparation, chip seal, slurry seal, micro surfacing, and overlays.
- Manage project budgets
, cost tracking, and forecasting to maintain profitability and financial control. - Coordinate with field operations
, including site grading, surface preparation, material procurement, and paving operations. - Oversee project organization, scheduling, and implementation
, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control requirements. - Participate in the conceptual development of projects, assisting with estimating, constructability reviews, and value engineering opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and agencies to ensure clear communication, prompt issue resolution, and strong working relationships.
- Lead and support field supervision teams to ensure work is performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare and review project documentation
, including submittals, schedules, change orders, and progress reports.
5+ years of experience
Civil/Highway/Pavement Maintenance preservation experiences
Qualifications- Proven experience managing asphalt paving and pavement preservation projects (public works or private).
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and equipment related to asphalt and surface treatments.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Paid time off- 160 hrs. (4 weeks) upon hire! 200 hrs. (5 weeks) after 5 years of service!
