Overview
An Asphalt Raker is responsible for spreading, leveling, and smoothing hot asphalt to create safe, even road and pavement surfaces. This role is essential in roadwork, parking lots, and driveway construction.
Full Time/ Over Time / Traveling / $22H-$24 DOE
Key Responsibilities
* Spread and level hot asphalt using hand tools such as rakes and shovels
* Smooth surfaces and remove excess asphalt before compaction
* Work closely with paving machine and roller operators to ensure quality results
* Check and fix uneven spots in the asphalt surface
* Follow safety procedures when working with hot materials and heavy equipment
