Union ESD is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist who believes all students are capable of success and is committed to supporting both academic achievement and student well-being.
Recently awarded a 48-month School Based Mental Health Grant, Union ESD will deliver comprehensive MTSS services, aligned to the NASP Model, to improve outcomes for all youth. Each of our three, K-8 schools, with fewer than 700 students, will have a full-time school-psychologist, along with support from a traveling lead psychologist. Position OverviewThe School Psychologist provides comprehensive services aligned with the NASP Model, including assessment, consultation, and mental health support. This role collaborates with educators, families, and teams to create learner-focused solutions and positive outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psycho educational evaluations and interpret results
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student success
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions
- Support MTSS and data-based decision making through leadership and professional development
- Participate in crisis prevention and response
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive schools
- Master's or Ed.S. in School Psychology
- Arizona certification (or eligibility)
