Prime Air Maintenance Technician, Prime Air

Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This person will be responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring the aircraft conforms to design and that vehicles are in safe operating condition. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on assigned responsibilities.

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

Essential physical and work conditions:

• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Export Control License and DOT testing may apply as required by regulations.

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files.
• Experience in the aviation industry, business communication, robotics, and manufacturing engineering.

• Additional experience in aviation, business communication, robotics, and manufacturing engineering.
