Our Opportunity

Welder – 1st Shift

Location

Tolleson, AZ

Reports To

Manufacturing Supervisor

Position Type

Full‑time, non‑exempt

Hours

Monday – Thursday, 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Your Responsibilities As a Welder
  • Weld metal parts together using both gas welding and any combination of arc welding processes.
  • Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and increase the size of metal parts.
  • Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal parts preparatory to welding.
  • Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting, drilling, shearing, punch pressing, and de‑burring.
Your Qualifications As a Welder
  • One‑year certificate from college or technical school in welding or 1‑2 years’ experience and/or welding training. Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred.
  • Physical requirements include regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 pounds when turning parts over, dependent on the part being welded.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
