Night Shift

Join us at Landscape Products Inc. as an Injection Molding Process Technician. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring our products meet quality standards while continuously improving operational efficiency.

Location:

Tolleson, AZ. Type:
Full‑time. Dinner Shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high‑quality parts efficiently
  • Troubleshoot injection molding equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to prevent downtime
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards
  • Troubleshoot material handling equipment
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of manufacturing machinery
  • Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal performance
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Document and report any deviations or defects found during inspections
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Work with engineers and maintenance staff to resolve technical problems
  • Suggest and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and process changes
  • Prepare reports on equipment performance, production metrics, and quality issues
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding process status and issues
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by management
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination
Leadership & Communication
  • Conduct yourself with professionalism in all communication with fellow employees, management, and Field Support Center staff
  • Attend and participate in scheduled meetings
  • Champion Landscape Product's culture and commitment throughout all business activities
  • Communicate all operational issues with the Manager
Business Development
  • Maintain a strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Continue to stay proficient with basic hand and power tools

Requirements
  • Must be willing to cover other shifts as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in plastics or manufacturing technology is a plus
  • 1‑3 years of experience in injection molding or related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with injection molding machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications
  • Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
