Assistant Tech

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known leading provider in engineering repair and logistics services in Wichita KS. We are hiring assistant technicians in Wichita KS. 1st shift 6am – 2:30pm M-F. Pay rate is $15.50 an hour.

Assistant Technician

Summary:

Skilled in the operation of test equipment.
Capable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons.
Ability to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine).
Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.
Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Assistant Technician

Qualifications:

Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.

Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.

Solder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts, by using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.

Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.

Comply with quality performance standards.

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.

All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
