Job Summary
Georgia‑Pacific is looking for safety‑oriented individuals to join our team as a Production Associate in our climate‑controlled facility in Tolleson, AZ.
Salary and CompensationBase pay: $21.65 per hour. Shift differential of $1.00 per hour for hours between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am. Eligible for a Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus. Compensation may increase based on skills and contribution.
Shift Schedule- 5‑2‑2‑5 schedule (rotating 12‑hour shifts).
- Shifts run 6:45 am–7:00 pm and 6:45 pm–7:00 am.
- Rotation between days and nights occurs every two weeks.
- Only candidates able to work this schedule will be considered.
- The facility uses a point‑based attendance program.
- Operate equipment to meet defined standards and product specification targets.
- Monitor and enter data into computer control systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
- Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
- Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
- Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment, or completion of post‑high‑school education in manufacturing/industrial fields.
- Must be able to work rotating 12‑hour shifts on a 5‑2‑2‑5 schedule.
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing and/or industrial environments.
- Experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
- Strict adherence to safety rules and wearing required safety equipment.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high‑volume environment.
