Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts. They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are being replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolbox organization and keep workstations clean and safe.

Technicians perform tasks and possess skills noted below and have efficiency ratings of 85% or above.

• Perform Basic chassis repairs
• Perform Basic engine repairs
• Able to Remove & Install chassis components
• Able to perform preventative maintenance
• Competent in Internal/factory warranty processes
• Comfortable with major vendor/factory repairs and procedures
• Can perform most chassis repairs
• Able to perform complete engine Remove & Install
• Complete engine repairs within SRT time
• Complex chassis repairs within SRT time
• Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs
• HVAC
• Proficient on all vehicle component repairs
• Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures
• Competent in root cause failure analysis
• Vibration analysis

• High school diploma or the equivalent

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check.

• $27-$48 hourly (based on experience and qualifications)
