Hourly base pay rate: $16.59 – $24.86/hour. Base rate may vary within this range based on location and candidate qualifications. Additional compensation may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Responsibilities- Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, observing auction driving rules, road rules, and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
- Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and locate "lost" vehicles.
- Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed.
- Inflate tires and jump‑start vehicles using a battery box and air tank if necessary.
- Notify the supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify the Service or Gas Truck Driver when the vehicle is out of gas.
- Assist customers (e.g., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies) and coworkers as needed.
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
- Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Report theft, lot damage, or any safety concerns to management.
- Coordinate and direct vehicle movement to maintain continuous flow of traffic.
- Minimum:
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field. - Alternative:
Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline, or 5 years of experience in a related field. - Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
