Maintenance Technician
gpac is partnering with a well-established dairy manufacturer south of La Crosse, WI that is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to its team.
You'll be working in a modern, highly automated production environment with robotics, automated packaging, advanced controls, and pasteurization systems. The company has been producing fresh, locally processed products for 30+ years and continues to invest heavily in its facility, equipment, and people.
This is a true multi-craft maintenance role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and fixing equipment—not standing around waiting for something to happen. You'll work across mechanical, electrical, controls, packaging, and utility systems that keep a 24/7 operation running.
What They're Looking For:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, automation, and packaging equipment
- Knowledge of pumps, conveyors, motors, separators, and process equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and electrical drawings
- Food, beverage, dairy, or other high-speed manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ammonia refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, or pasteurization experience is a bonus
- Someone who can think on their feet, diagnose problems, and get equipment back online
If you're a hands-on Maintenance Technician who likes solving problems, working with advanced equipment, and being the person everyone counts on when a line goes down, this is an opportunity worth hearing about.
