Mental Health Crisis Worker

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) seeks a compassionate Mental Health Crisis Worker to provide rapid response, assessment, and intervention for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies. In this role, you will conduct suicide and safety risk assessments, de-escalate crises using trauma-informed techniques, and create immediate safety and follow-up plans. You will coordinate referrals to ongoing behavioral health, housing, and social services, document all contacts in electronic health records, and collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners.
