Operate patient transport vehicles including emergency vehicles, patient transport vans/buses and other types of transport vehicles;
Transport patients to and from VA Medical Center facilities, private healthcare facilities, and other locations such as patient homes, railway, bus stations and airports;
Read installation maps and determine the shortest and safest route while ensuring passenger safety and seatbelt use;
Load and unload patients and medical supplies; assist patients as required;
Perform operator maintenance and use Mobile Data Computers (MDC) in vehicles for assigned trips
