Tax Accountant – Tomball, TX
Salary: $95,000.00 per year. Shift: Monday – Friday.
We're looking for a Tax Accountant who knows accounting beyond the basics and takes ownership of the numbers. Solid work. Real responsibility.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3‑5+ years of accounting experience, including tax compliance
- Audit support experience
- ERP system experience (Net Suite preferred)
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and organized
- CPA or progress toward certification
- Multi‑state tax and manufacturing tax credit experience
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; prepare and file tax returns
- Support internal and external audits
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with the month/year‑end close
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and support budgeting/forecasting
- Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Manage ERP system (Net Suite preferred) and coordinate with system vendors
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support accurate reporting
