Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager - Tomball, TX (On-Site)

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support a high-performing finance team. This role reports directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to drive process improvements, lead accounting staff, and play a key role in the organization's continued growth.

• Lead daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger activities, and payroll support
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, audits, and financial reporting
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting efficiencies
• Partner with leadership across multiple departments to support operational and financial objectives
• Help optimize ERP processes and maintain accurate financial data within Net Suite

• Required:
  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Inventory accounting and fixed asset experience
• Experience implementing process improvements or ERP enhancements
