Accounts Payable Specialist Tomball TX

Job Description

Job Type: Full-time in house

• Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits
• Preparing invoices to be sent to customers via preferred methods
• Communicate with management on problem accounts
• Work with sales leadership to facilitate the resolution of payment concerns
• Maintain customer information
• Apply payments to accounts
• Initiate collections on delinquent accounts
• Other accounting duties as assigned

This position is located in Northwest Houston - Tomball

Understanding of general accounting mathematics.

Accounts payable experience required.

• A high school diploma is required
• A/P experience is required
• Quick Books experience is required - THIS IS A MUST
