Accounting Specialist

Location: Tomball, TX | Full-Time, On-Site

Salary Range: $60,000–$85,000 (depending on experience)

We’re seeking an Accounting Specialist to join a growing manufacturing organization and support the day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to take on a well-rounded role with exposure to multiple areas of accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Process, code, and reconcile vendor invoices and support accounts payable
• Assist with customer billing, payment posting, and accounts receivable
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close and general ledger activities
• Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
• Assist with payment preparation, expense reports, reimbursements, and vendor records
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoices, payments, and discrepancies
• Support audits, reporting, compliance documentation, and other accounting projects
• Partner with purchasing, receiving, warehouse, operations, and leadership teams to resolve accounting issues

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4+ years of experience in accounting, AP, AR, bookkeeping, or a related finance role
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system
• Manufacturing, industrial, or distribution experience
