Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Part-Time Coordinator I, Title III SIP Grant-Funded facilitates daily operations within assigned area. Coordinates logistics, services and support surrounding programs or departments. Responsible for compliance with policies, procedures and a variety of local, state and federal regulations. Makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices.
This is a temporary, grant‑funded position. Continuation of the position from one academic year to the next is contingent upon continued grant funding.
Essential Job Functions- Facilitate daily operations of assigned area. Maintain records. Recruit, hire, schedule and prioritize work and activities and organize training materials for tutors. Maintain current knowledge base of assigned area and act as a point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Make presentations at various levels both internally and externally.
- Assist with training and monitoring of department staff. Schedule and prioritize work activities.
- Coordinate various department and management calendars and schedules. Assist with planning, scheduling and coordinating meetings, seminars, events, including site selection, preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support.
- Monitor and control resources such as office supplies and equipment needed within the department. Submit requisitions and follow up with reconciliation documentation.
- Monitor and maintain website for department and external use.
- Assist with entering and tracking the department budget.
- Take part in special projects as needed.
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.

The work is sedentary. Typically the employee sits comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Schedule & Conditions- Equipment used includes a PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment.
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position.
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
- Associate degree and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hourly Pay Rate is $17.58.
