Position: IAG Integrity Construction Foreman (26815)

Integrity Construction Foreman – Pipeline Integrity Maintenance

Job location:

Tomball, Texas – Tomball, TX 75014.

As an Integrity Construction Foreman, you will organize, plan, and manage pipeline integrity projects. The Construction Foreman will coordinate our people and processes to ensure our projects are delivered on time and produce desired results for our Construction teams.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Crew Foreman on ground bed crew and direct departmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Delegate and outline the tasks involved in the project and coordinate internal resources to ensure streamlined execution of projects.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Effectively communicate Pre-Job / JIS / Job Goals to internal and external customers.
  • Work with operations to effectively support equipment needs.
  • Deliver all reporting deliverables and data updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain all project documentation.
  • Follow and enforce the company‑required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
  • Actively participate in JSA and use all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensure the safety of others working in the area.
  • Communicate with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Complexity, Decision‑Making, and Problem‑Solving
  • Oversee a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk, including termination of the project if appropriate.
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Have confidence to stop work when a problem is immediately identified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of pipeline integrity construction job sites and project plans.
  • Knowledge of excavation practices including shoring and erosion control.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to adhere to a written method or procedure.
  • Read and comprehend technical documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
  • Write simple correspondence.
  • Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
  • Learn, understand, and apply new organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
Management Responsibilities

This role acts as a leader in the field but has no direct reports.

Qualifications
  • Two or more years’ experience with pipeline integrity‑based construction.
  • Two or more years’ experience working with pipeline coating applications.
  • Two or more years’ experience with pipeline sandblasting and coating removal.
  • Experience in a customer‑service focused and safety‑first organization.
  • Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
  • CDL A driver’s license preferred.
Environmental and Working Conditions
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Excellent depth perception, hearing, and manual dexterity required.
  • Regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions in extreme temperatures and weather.
  • Noise level usually moderate to high.
Other Considerations
  • Travel at least 80% of the time.
  • Meet company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under company insurance program.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility required at the time of hire.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position may require overtime.
