Job Summary

The Learning Experience, a preschool located in Pearland, Texas. We are currently hiring for a Lead Toddler Teacher to educate and care for children from 1-2 years old. The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for ensuring: the health and safety of the children in their care, the implementation of proprietary curriculum, a clean, friendly, and welcoming classroom environment, and effective communication with the children's parents.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children

* Must speak English proficiently to communicate with children, staff, management and parents

* Must be able to read and write English proficiently to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures

* Knowledge of children's growth and development

* Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

* Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations and policies

* Previous experience as a preschool teacher is preferable

* Infant CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain
