Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by supporting their social, emotional, and educational development in this contract opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist near Tomball, TX. Beginning July 27th and continuing through May 27th, you'll provide vital services within a dynamic K-12 environment, working across 2-3 sites. This position offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek and a diverse caseload of approximately 60-80 students, with an average of 8-10 psycho educational evaluations per month.

Your expertise will be utilized to help students thrive through collaboration with faculty, administrators, and families.

Desired Experience &

Qualifications:
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
  • Proficiency in conducting psycho educational assessments and providing targeted interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational abilities for managing a varied caseload and schedule across multiple campuses
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for all students
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students in need of services
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective strategies for student growth
  • Counsel students individually or in small groups as appropriate to address academic, behavioral, or emotional issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all legal requirements and school policies
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert recommendations
