Dynamic Systems, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support design-build mechanical and process construction projects for data centers, healthcare, industrial, and commercial facilities. Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, and process piping system design, load calculations, equipment selection, and technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with project managers, BIM/detailing, and field teams to ensure constructable, code-compliant solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems for data centers, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects
- Develop construction drawings, equipment selections, and technical specifications in coordination with project teams
- Support design-build efforts with load calculations, system modeling, and value-engineering options
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to resolve design and installation issues
- Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings to ensure technical accuracy and code compliance
- Perform site visits to verify existing conditions, support startup, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensure designs meet safety, energy efficiency, and applicable mechanical and building codes
- Contribute to project scheduling, cost estimating, and constructability reviews
- Work with vendors to evaluate products and integrate advanced mechanical solutions
- Support continuous improvement, documentation standards, and knowledge sharing across project teams
