Operations Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
Manage and supervise daily operational activities and ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance operational procedures, systems, and principles for information flow, business processes, and management reporting. Identify opportunities to expand systems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may include interviewing, selection, hiring, training new and existing employees, planning, assigning, directing work, authoring employee performance appraisals, addressing performance and corrective action plans, motivating employees, organising the budget in collaboration with the director, and other duties as directed.

- Assist with recruiting efforts by interviewing applicants for open positions
- Responsible for the execution and delivery of company services and products to customers, while keeping the minimum quality standard established by the company.

- Plan and review compensation actions; enforce policies and procedures
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolve problems, and assist to perform internal audits
- Comply with assigned budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures; comply with processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
- Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Resolve employee concerns and collaborate with Project/Operations Manager and Human Resources on escalating employee issues
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and trainings
- Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
- Manage staff levels, wages, hours, and contract labor
- Perform site walk-through and quality control inspections
- Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace
- Document and report any injury or accidents to immediate supervisor and Human Resources Department
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Work closely with Project/Operations Manager and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
- Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
- Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing it effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reducing sub‑rental expenses
- Communicate with safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations
- Attend project status meetings with Operations Manager and Management as needed

Additional qualifications and expectations include:
- 2 years prior experience in the same capacity preferred but not required
- Solid self‑organizational skills
- Detailed and ability/desire to follow detailed instructions
