START YOUR CAREER NOW.The primary responsibility of the Sr. Maintenance Technician is to perform routine maintenance tasks and assist the Maintenance supervisor with projects within the DNOW Corporate campus.
** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacement.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to cranes and shop machinery.
* Maintain fabrication shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, compressors, and grinders.
* Conduct facility upkeep—repairing doors, lighting, ventilation systems, and other infrastructure as needed.
* Keep accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service reports in compliance with OSHA and manufacturer requirements.
* Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
* Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, safety improvements, and cost-saving maintenance practices.
** JOB REQUIREMENTS
*** Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong focus on overhead crane systems.
* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and crane inspection requirements.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
* Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights when servicing cranes.
