Sr. Hydro Technician

Overview

• Set up and operate hydrostatic testing equipment to assess structural integrity of pipelines, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Prepare test systems by cleaning, sealing, and filling with appropriate test medium.
• Monitor pressure gauges, record readings, and identify leaks or weaknesses during testing.
• Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports for engineering and quality teams.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all testing activities.
• Collaborate with field crews, welders, and inspectors to ensure seamless testing operations.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Previous experience in hydrostatic or pressure testing, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, valves, and pressure systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
