Shop Hand

This position is responsible for cleaning and organizing the shop as well as assisting the Shop Manager and Shop Technicians in their daily duties.

• Complete all safety training
• Load and unload deliveries
• Receive inventory and check against purchase orders for discrepancies
• Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill such as supplying or holding materials or tools
• Cleaning work areas and equipment
• Assist with duties related to the work environment
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists/cranes
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete
• Paint and package products to prepare for pick up by shipping vendors

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Applicant will be subject to drug and background screening
• Applicant must have reliable transportation
• Read and write English for both instructions and reports
• Applicant must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment
• Applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Applicant must have the physical stature to perform their duties for 8-12 hours per day
