Quality Inspector
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector. In this role, responsible for ensuring that manufactured and assembled items meet all applicable specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. This includes performing inspections, tests, checks, and sampling procedures on incoming materials, components, subassemblies, and finished products. Inspection activities include dimensional, visual, and documentation reviews in accordance with company procedures and industry standards. Additionally, the Quality Inspector serves as a Technical Authority under API 16AR, with responsibility for certifying repaired or remanufactured equipment and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and documentation requirements.

- perform inspections of finished and purchased parts, subassemblies, and assembled products according to specified instructions and industry standards using standard physical and mechanical measurements
- perform dimensional inspections to ensure conformance to customer and/or TWC Quality Procedures
- perform visual inspections to ensure conformance to customer and/or TWC specifications
- check incoming material test reports to ensure it meets the requirements of the Purchase Order specifications
- complete and maintain all departmental records/forms pertaining to inspection status
- maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts
- reports quality problems or findings to Quality Supervisor or QHSE Director
- accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
- maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
- monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
- keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition
- completes all departmental records/forms pertaining to inspection status are complete and accurate
- supports the calibration process
- other administrative tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor
- ability to perform dimensional inspection
- ability to recognize non-conformances
- knowledgeable in algebra, geometry and trigonometry at high school level is desirable
- must be able to interpret detailed drawings and specifications
- inspect new, repaired and/or damaged tools and gauges to determine if they meet specifications
- must be fluent speaking, writing and reading English
- a self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance
- must be detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task
- interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
- assign priorities and resolve conflicts within daily routine tasks
- must be able to attain a valid certification to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- must be able to attain certification and perform various non-destructive examination methods
