Retail Store Manager

$14.70 to $24.50 per hour

• VACATION:

  Eligible employees are granted 8 hours (after 6 months of employment) to be used before their first (1st) anniversary and granted 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2-5) (if applicable, sick time is adjusted and granted in accordance with state/local municipality requirements). 24 hours after five (5) years.

We are looking for a Retail Store Manager to join our team! The hourly rate is supplemented by a lucrative monthly bonus contributing to a major portion of the manager’s total yearly income.

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales a plus). A Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and promoting a positive, productive environment. The manager will lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. By example and company values, the manager sets the tone for a customer‑centric environment.

The manager will be required to analyze financial statements to meet goals and adjust as necessary. Commitment to asset protection is essential. The manager will use internal and external marketing tools to promote the business and acquire new customers. All employees work with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers competitive wage plus performance‑based bonus.

The manager reports to the area’s District Manager.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets prescribed First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers, merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
• Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
