As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Tomball, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement and/or site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM and teller access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high‑value transaction spaces to help support authorized access, follow post orders, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Maintain a visible presence while following all armed post requirements, handling security‑related equipment responsibly, and completing required reports before, during, and after assigned shifts.
- A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
