** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or hazardous conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Support emergency preparedness efforts by assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and coordination with site personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
