The City of Tomball will be accepting applications for a
** Public Service Officer (Jailer).
** This role will be Responsible for the efficient operation of the Holding Facility (jail) and offering comprehensive support in evidence management, crime scene investigation, and various administrative tasks. Requires a strong grasp of procedural compliance, ensuring the preservation and integrity of evidence, as well as seamless collaboration with both police personnel and external entities like the District Attorney's office.

* ** Holding Facility Management:
** Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the department's jail. Assist police personnel with fingerprints, data collection, and distribution. Undertake specialty projects and programs specific to the facility.
* ** Administrative Duties:
** Complete cross-trained tasks and cover for peers during absences. Carry out 'other duties as assigned' by the command staff.
* ** Public Interaction:
** Answer and provide information to public inquiries related to evidence, holding facility, or related matters.
* Contribute to the team effort by performing other related duties as assigned.|  || --- ||
