Position Overview:

As an Aftermarket Suspension Technician / Accessory Installer
, you’ll work hands‑on with custom builds and high‑end vehicle upgrades. You’ll specialize in installing and servicing aftermarket suspension systems from leveling kits to 6” – 12” lift kits and perform precision installation of premium accessories such as bumpers, lighting, roof racks, hitches, bed covers, and more. Your craftsmanship ensures every vehicle leaves our shop performing at its best — customized, refined, and ready to turn heads.

Key:
  • Perform installation of aftermarket suspension systems across a wide range of vehicle applications, including leveling kits as well as lift kits averaging 6” –12”
  • Perform modifications and customizations while in compliance with company standards and perform quality work to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Able to install various accessories (bumpers, bedcovers, winches, and more)
  • Test drives vehicles to assess completion of installation and alignment.
  • Performs alignments on Hunter Hawkeye machine
  • Navigates computer systems for work order information, alignment machine, wheel balancers, and TPS tools (preferred) and access to other information
  • Performs inspections of completed repairs and installations to ensure quality of repair and suitability of vehicle for return to customer
  • Communicates professionally and clearly with both internal and external parties
  • Communicate with Sales Team Members to recommend and obtain additional parts if needed during installations
  • Understands and adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines
  • Cleans and maintains a safe working area
Qualifications:
  • Prior Aftermarket Suspension Installation is a MUST
  • Must be able to assemble and install a variety of aftermarket suspension system for a wide range of vehicle applications.
  • Perform vehicle alignments on most vehicle applications
  • Must possess your own set of professional tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and a team player
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • 2 years of experience (ASE Certification is a plus but not a must)
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and work orders
  • Must be able to work scheduled store hours at specific location
  • Must maintain a safe work environment and abide by all safety regulations.
Work Environment:
  • Retail storefront with attached full‑service automotive shop
  • Industrial workspace with lifts, warehouse storage, concrete floors, and high ceilings
  • Active environment involving kneeling, lifting, and operating tools/equipment around vehicles
