Job Title
Journeyman Electrician, Field Services Group, Tomball, TX, focusing on Water Business Unit.
Position SummarySupport electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Terminate combiner boxes
- Panel/LV work
- Install metering equipment
- Layout, bend, thread and install conduit
- Layout and install switch gear, switchboards and electrical devices
- Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway
- Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire
- Connect and support DC wire
- Install electrical enclosures
- Supervise the work of apprentices
- Unload and stage material
- Perform electrical testing and commissioning
- Electrical Journeyman License Required
- Minimum 4 years’ experience
- Water experience preferred
- General knowledge of construction principles/processes
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies on construction projects
- Must have a tape measure, level, and side cutting pliers (Lineman’s)
- Proven commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to a schedule
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Age 18+
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
