Electrician
We are seeking a skilled electrician who possesses a comprehensive understanding of one-line diagrams, area classifications, interconnect wiring diagrams, plans, details, and cable schedules. The ideal candidate will be adept at resolving problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment. You will utilize diagnostic equipment and testing devices to assess system functionality and demonstrate strong experience with various electrical equipment, including integration and installation of Motor Control Centers, MV-SWGR, MV-VFDs, UPS hardware, and control system cabinets in PDC buildings.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and wire equipment according to electrical MV and LV one-line diagrams, load lists, hazardous area plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical specifications, and data sheets.
- Install cable tray, conduit, raceway, VFDs, LV MCCs, MV/LV drives, Switchgear, UPS, electrical panels, and Fire & Gas Systems in PDC buildings.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders, and hand or mechanical benders.
- Report on work progress and provide input to the Project Execution Plan.
- Work independently and perform all tasks with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an electrician.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing MCC and/or PDC modular buildings.
- Strong experience installing power and control circuits, including MCC, switch gear, VFDs, UPS hardware, power transformers, distribution panels, and transfer switches.
- Protection relay installation experience.
- Experience with the installation of power systems for Midstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Industrial Energy clients.
- Strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and electrical theory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge or familiarity with PLC panels and systems is a plus.
- Effective communication skills with management, customers, and vendors.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership over tasks.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, with most units built in the yard if too large for the shop. The position is a day shift role, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekends and overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomball, TX 77375.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
