Looking for a hands‑on role where you can stay active and work around machinery and equipment? Globe Power USA is looking for a Trade Assistant to join our growing team in Tomball, Texas.

You’ll work across our busy yard and workshop, supporting our technicians, preparing equipment for rental and sale, operating forklifts, and helping keep daily operations running smoothly. Full training will be provided.

This is a full‑Time permanent role working Monday to Friday 7am-5pm.

No two days are the same, but your role will include:

• Cleaning and presenting machinery ready for rental and sale
• Operating forklifts to load/unload equipment for dispatch and receiving
• Moving equipment around the branch for cleaning, servicing, and storage
• Keeping the yard safe, well‑organized, and running smoothly
• Assisting tradespeople with commissioning, assembly, and inspections of new assets (with full training provided)
• Conducting weekly inventory checks of rental and new fleet equipment
• Handling paperwork between the workshop and operations team

Ideally, you will also bring:

• A current forklift certification with practical experience
• Experience operating machinery or equipment (preferred, but not essential‑we’ll train you!)
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work 47.5 hours a week with a positive attitude
• Good communication skills and a team‑player mindset
• Determination, resilience, and the ability to work independently
• Strong organisational skills and commitment to quality work
• The ability to pass a pre‑employment physical and drug and alcohol screening
