Deputy Tax Collector – Hamilton Township, Atlantic
Full‑time position under the direction of the Tax Collector. The candidate will be experienced in all aspects of tax collection in a municipality of similar size (approximately 17,000 line items). Must be detail‑oriented, an excellent communicator, and able to organize and manage multiple tasks. Strong customer‑service focus is required; interaction with the public and co‑workers must remain professional.
Required qualifications:
- Certification preferred
- Two (2) years experience in a tax office
- Prior supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of Edmunds software
- Ability to handle significant cash volumes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
Salary range up to $75,000 DOQ.
