The Grants Office Technician provides administrative, operational, and data management support for the Grants Administration Office. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating office workflows, managing electronic files and databases, tracking purchasing and budget documentation, and providing general administrative support for grant-funded initiatives and departmental operations. This position will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to help the department meet established deadlines and data reporting requirements.
This position will maintain the department calendar related to scheduled events and meetings.

Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, spreadsheets, databases, and operational reports. Enter, update, and verify information within departmental databases and tracking systems. Maintain spreadsheets used to monitor the Monthly Grants Engagement Report. Organize records to ensure compliance with institutional and funding agency requirements.
Use the OCC self-service, maintence request, and 25
Live platforms to process work orders, payment reimbursements, and room reservations.
Prepare purchase requisitions and monitor procurement transactions through completion.
Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and presentation materials.
Schedule meetings and maintain office calendars.
Assist with inventory tracking and equipment records.
Perform routine office functions, including document preparation, scanning, filing, copying, and records maintenance.
Support office projects and perform other duties as assigned.
1. Associate's Degree or 60 college credits.
2. Prior work experience, preferably within a busy office or program support environment.
3. Ability to accurately enter, collect and manage data, generate reports and prepare professional correspondences and emails.
4. Microsoft Excel experience and familiarity with a database system (CRM, ERP or student database system).
1.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience working in higher education or a public agency.
3. Experience in Ellucian Colleague.
4. Experience in office administration, office management, records management, or administrative support.
5. Related experience or exposure to grants administration.
