Commercial Bid Estimator​/Coordinator

Schedule:Full-time |2 days per week in office

Master Craft Building & Renovations is an established residential remodeling and construction company expanding into the
commercial construction market
. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, motivated individual to help build out and develop our commercial division.

This is an opportunity for someone who doesn't just want to estimate projects, but wants to
help build an entire commercial construction operation from the ground up.

We are seeking a
Commercial Bid Estimator / Coordinator
who will be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, reviewing plans and specifications, coordinating subcontractor pricing, preparing competitive estimates, and submitting bids.

• Source and identify commercial construction opportunities through
  Construct Connect
  and other bidding platforms
• Review commercial plans, drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project estimates
• Obtain and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and vendors
• Solicit subcontractor bids and compare pricing to ensure competitive estimates
• Build complete project estimates, including labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and other project costs
• Prepare and organize commercial bid proposals
• Submit bids by required deadlines
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and potential clients
• Track upcoming bid opportunities and maintain a commercial bid pipeline
• Coordinate with company ownership and project management throughout the estimating and bidding process
• Help develop and improve Master Craft's commercial estimating and bidding procedures
• Assist in building the commercial division and identifying opportunities for future growth

• Previous experience in
  commercial construction estimating, bidding, or project coordination
• Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications
• Experience obtaining and managing subcontractor pricing
• Ability to perform construction takeoffs and develop detailed estimates
• Experience with estimating/takeoff software or willingness to learn our preferred platform
• Experience with
  Construct Connect
  or similar construction bid platforms is strongly preferred
• Existing relationships with reliable commercial subcontractors and vendors is a major plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to help build something and grow with the company

This is a full-time position with a
hybrid schedule
.

• 2 days per week in the Master Craft office:2679 NJ-70 W, Manasquan, NJ
• Remaining workdays may be performed remotely, with flexibility based on project and company needs.

Competitive salary + profit share.

The profit-share structure provides the opportunity to directly participate in the success of the commercial division. The compensation package will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.

This is not simply a position where you will be handed projects to estimate.
You will have the opportunity to help build Master Craft's commercial division from the ground up.
