We are seeking a team-oriented, professional General Dentist who demonstrates strong communication skills, organization, and a service-minded approach. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive oral healthcare, use clinical expertise to diagnose and manage dental disease, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with clinical staff and the dental laboratory to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive oral examinations, including medical history review, extraoral and intraoral evaluations, and oral cancer screening.
- Obtain, interpret, and maintain diagnostic radiographs and other imaging as appropriate.
- Establish accurate diagnoses and develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences.
- Provide a full range of general dentistry services, including restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges), non-surgical extractions, endodontic treatment within general practice scope, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and management of dental emergencies.
- Prescribe medications and adjunctive therapies when indicated and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Coordinate care with dental specialists and the dental laboratory to ensure timely and accurate prosthetic and restorative outcomes.
- Supervise and collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and support staff to ensure efficient clinical workflows and high standards of patient care.
- Ensure proper infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols are followed in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, treatment notes, consent documentation, and billing codes as required.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, treatment options, and post-operative instructions to support optimal oral health.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of employment or eligibility to obtain such a license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and proficiency in general restorative dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and education.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment and coordinate with laboratory services.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards of practice.
- Prior clinical experience in a general dentistry practice.
- Familiarity with digital radiography, dental imaging software, and common practice management systems.
- Experience coordinating care with dental laboratories and specialists.
Compensation: 200k-250k base plus % of office profit
