Core responsibilities include producing and coordinating full construction document sets in Revit; managing Revit models across disciplines and resolving clashes with consultant models; maintaining sheet sets, schedules, and annotation standards; and ensuring drawings meet firm standards, building codes, and client requirements. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and consultants, participation in internal design reviews, and hands‑on troubleshooting of technical and coordination issues throughout project delivery.
The Sr. Designer/Job Captain will also support project scheduling, attend client and team meetings as needed, and help mentor junior staff on Revit workflows and CD production standards.

- Ability in drawing and visual communication, including hand sketching and digital representation of design ideas.
- Understanding of urban planning principles and how projects relate to site, community, and regulatory context.
- Relevant experience in an architectural office, preferably with education, mixed‑use, correctional, or government projects.
- Working knowledge of complementary design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite or similar) is a plus.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a closely related field; progress toward professional licensure is a plus.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and sustainable design practices; familiarity with LEED or similar standards is beneficial.
