This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hospital-based FQHC clinic, delivering essential services in a supportive environment. Required Skills:

Valid optometry license and board certification

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience

Strong proficiency in comprehensive eye examinations and patient evaluations

Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English;
Spanish speakers highly preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable with EMR systems and clinical documentation

Nice to Have

Skills:

Bilingual in Spanish

Experience working in a hospital or FQHC setting

Comfortable with driving to patient locations

Prior experience with EMR training and shadowing

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution

At least 2 years of relevant clinical practice

Experience in diverse patient populations

Other Requirements:

Currently eligible for licensure and certification in the state

Willingness to undergo credentialing process (approx. 60-90 days)

Local candidates or those able to self-transport; client will not cover travel expenses

Availability for part-time schedule on Wednesdays and Fridays, with potential for additional hours at other locations

Willingness to work day shift, 8-hour days (09:00 - 17:00)

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate: $119.35
