The Adult Education ESL Instructor is responsible for the day-to-day instruction and supervision of adult learners on an as needed basis. The Instructor will assist adults to become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency; while assisting family members become full partners in the educational development of their children.

Workforce & Professional Education Instructor
Instructional Duration:
Semester Based
Schedule: Monday, Tues, Weds, and/or Thurs 9am-12pm
If available, instructors have the option to work evening hours as well (6pm-9pm on Monday and Weds).
ResponsibilitiesAssist students to achieve a passing score on the Hi-Set exam.
Blend digital literacy skills and online resources into instruction;
Incorporate workforce preparation, study skills, and career readiness into the curriculum.
Collect feedback and report back to the Program Manager/Instructor.
Network and collaborate with staff, administration, and advisor/case manager to improve effectiveness and increase the success of the students' transition.
Familiarity with computers, e‑mail, and word processing.
