Qualifications and

Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working in elementary settings, with a strong understanding of inclusion best practices
• Proven ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the inclusion teacher in elementary classrooms, supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to modify content, provide accommodations, and ensure an accessible curriculum for all students
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, attendance, and IEP documentation
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture that encourages growth and mutual respect
